Hours to his concert, Congolese singer and songwriter Fally Ipupa is yet to set foot in Uganda, something that has raised dust among party goers who were eagerly waiting.

Fally Ipupa’s concert is slated to take place today, Friday 13th at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.

But the singer hasn’t arrived yet and no one knows the time when he is expected to arrive at Entebbe International Airport.

Unconfirmed reports indicated that he had missed his flight from Kinshasa to Entebbe, something which led to the delay.

Others have started speculating that the concert could be cancelled, sighting the 2018 incident where a Patoranking concert was cancelled days to D-day.

The same concert was being organised by Nxt Media in close collaboration with other companies.

But Nxt Media officials have confirmed that the singer is on his way to Uganda and that the concert will happen as planned.

“The last update I got from the event promoter was that he is already on his plane coming,” Nxt Media publicist Desire Mugumisa told this website on phone.

“I can’t give you an exact time of arrival but I will keep updating you,” he added.

The concert is being organized by Nexus Events, the same company which organized Wizkid’s Dirty December, Alikiba’s show and a number of others.
