Police Recovers Eight Stolen Cars

The police has recovered eight cars in an operation where three women and many others were arrested in connection with the thefts and other crimes.

The suspects include; Abdul Mukkibi, Ale Tusiime, James Batande, James Katte, Fred Nyanga, Peter Charles, Carol Kemigisha, Sara Ifera, Nasser Kisambire and Moses Mulisa.

The cars were recovered from various areas of Kampala and Wakiso. According to Kampala Metropolitan Spokesperson Patrick Onyango the cars recovered are; a Toyota/Hiace UAT 098U, UAR 066B, UBE 0521, UBD 456W, UAY 193Q, UAL 081Q, UBE 845X AND UAL 018A.

All the recovered cars are currently parked at Katwe police station and Kawempe, and Central Police Station in Kampala.

Onyango says car owners should pick them with proof.
