Makerere University has revealed plans to resume studies for finalists starting June 20th, 2020.

According to a communiqué from the University Vice-chancellor, Prof Nawangwe, the university has established proper guidelines to ensure safe opening.

The semester he says will run until August 7th and will include normal classes and sitting for end of semester exams.

University deans have been asked to find out the content needed to end the semester within the given time.

The Presiden recently okayed students in final years and those in candidate classes to resume school starting next week. The President asked the Ministry of Education to come up with a plan.
