Presidential hopeful, rtd Lt. Gen Henry Tumukunde has added his voice to those criticizing the health minister Jane Ruth Aceng for holding a procession in Lira district, last week.
Tumukunde says the minister should resign for flouting Covid19 prevention guidelines which set designed herself.
The former security minister says, “Aceng has been preaching social distancing on TVs and radios but she has disregarded the recommendations.
“How can she then expect other Ugandans to respect and observe them?” Tumukunde wonders.
A number of MPs especially in the opposition have been calling for Aceng’s resignation. Others say she should not get close to the President again.
