Fire has this morning gutted a girls dormitory at King’s College Budo, The Tower Post reports.

The fire caught Grace House, a girls dormitory destroying students’ property.

By publication time police and rescue services were on ground trying to put out the fire which caught both the ground and top floor of the building.

According to information received, no student was in the building by the time the fire started.

Whereas the cause of the fire is still unkown, Police has revealed that it started from the building that houses senior three and senior one students.

“The Police Fire and rescue services have responded to a fire outbreak break at Kings college Buddo today in the morning. The fire is believed to have started from one building housing the senior 3 an 1 dormitories at around 7am while students were for their morning preparations,” Police said in a statement posted on their social media.
