The 2016/17 FUFA Uganda Cup Finals could finally bring an end to the row between Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director Jennifer Musisi and Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago.
The Finals between KCC FC and Paidha Black Angels were played at the Betway Green Light stadium in Arua on Thursday (June 15).
Lord Mayor Lukwago and KCCA ED Musisi were present at the match to support KCC FC.
At the game, the two shook hands in public, something that excited onlookers at the stadium and Ugandans that learnt about it on Social Media.
Musisi and Lukwago last shook hands in June 2016 during the swearing in ceremony of the elected leaders of Kampala, including the City Lord Mayor.
The match ended with KCCA FC defeating Paidha Black Angels 2-0 to win the 2016/17 FUFA Uganda Cup finals.
