Club Silk’s DJ Hearts Arrested for Fraud

Renowned Club Silk deejay, DJ Hearts was on Tuesday (August 15, 2017) arrested and detained at Katwe Police Station in Kampala over alleged fraud.

The disc spinner allegedly conned a one Robert Kayanda of 6 million when he promised to bring top Ugandan musicians to his (Kayanda’s) show that was to be held at Namaliri Gardens in Kayunda.

Winnie Nwagi, Kalifah Aganaga, Big Eye Starboss, B2C and Ykee Benda were some of the artistes that DJ Hearts had promised to bring to the show.

Posters were then printed, enticing Kayunga partygoers to buy tickets for the show.

However, Robert Kayanda says the situation got out of hand when revelers flocked the venue in big numbers and none of the artistes showed up.

Revelers are said to have gotten angry and destroyed property including chairs and TV screens among others.

It is for that reason that Kayanda opened a case against DJ Hearts at Katwe Police under file number: REF 34/13/08/2017.

Consequently, DJ Hearts was on Tuesday arrested and detained. This website understands that he will be charged with obtaining money by false pretense.
