Police has called on the public to remain calm amidst the trying moments proceeding the gruesome murder of AIGP Felix Kaweesi.

While addressing media at the crime scene on Friday morning, Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Emillian Kayima said that Police and all other security agencies will work together to make sure that the culprits are brought to book.

Kaweesi was in the wee hours of Friday morning gunned down by unknown persons as he left his home in Kulambiro.

Kayima identified the other victims of the murder as Kenneth Erau, who was Kawwesi’s bodygyuard and and Godfrey Mandawo, his driver.

“We call upon the public to remain calm as we continue to work together in these trying moments,” he said.

By publication time, Minister for Security Gen. Tumukunde was at the blood soaked scene together with Inspector General of Police Edward Kale Kayihura.
