The Golden Band singer Mesach Semakula last Friday evening pulled off a stunning performance at Hotel Africana in his VIP show dubbed, “My Journey, Totya Bigambo”.
The show, which was initially meant to take place in Nile hall was later moved out next to the swimming pool due to the overwhelming turn up that rocked the event.
The adorable crooner hit the stage at 9pm with his hit song “First Aid” setting his fans on a singing and dancing frenzy after following with other incredible songs like “Sigwe Onsimila”, “Taliyo” and “Kankutendereza”.
Unlike other shows that normally have annoying interludes by other guest performers, he cascaded song after song and his fans couldn’t hide their excitement but sing on.
The revered Kadongo Kamu singer also took time to pay tribute to his mother, who also graced the occasion, by kneeling and praising her for all always being there for him.
In attendance was also most prominent figures in the government, business and political arena and these included Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, Gen. Katumba Wamala, Hon. Denis Mbidde, Minister Ronald Kibuule, Meddie Nsereko, Kato Lumbwama, Ben Emanuel Misaga among other big wigs.
And the performing artistes that thrilled the revellers were Jose Chameleone, Eddy Kenzo, Maureen Nantume, Rema Namakula, Pastor Wilson Bugembe and Desire Luzinda to mention just a few.
