Dates have been set for the regional tour of the now popular themed event, Purple Party, The Tower Post has learnt.
The event, which has so far had 5 editions, will be holding regional tours to major upcountry towns – Mbarara, Mbale and Jinja.
According to Douglas Lwanga, the event’s host, the regional tour dates will be as follows: Jinja (April 29), Mbale (May 20), and lastly Mbarara on September 29.
Held on December 11 at the Ugandan Museum, last year’s Purple Party registered immense success with revellers jamming to thrilling music from prominent artistes among them Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, Eddy Kenzo, Radio and Weasel to mention just a few.
