President Yoweri Museveni adviser on Media, Tamale Mirundi has said he doesn’t know the late Ivan Semwanga.
Mirundi was speaking on NBS TV during the “One-On-One With Tamale Mirundi” show on Tuesday, when he was asked to say something about the fallen Rich Gang socialite.
“You mean you don’t know this prominent Ugandan that has been living in South Africa?” asked Muyanga Lutaaya, the show host.
In his response, Mirundi said, “I don’t know Ivan Semwanga because I was raised never to take free things.”
“But as a human being, when one dies I feel affected,” he added.
Semwanga died last Thursday May 25th at Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria where he had been admitted for 12 days after suffering from a stroke that left him paralyzed.
He was buried on Tuesday (May 30th) at Kayunga. The burial was attended by thousands of mourners.
