Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz and his mother Kendrah Michael jetted into the country on Thursday night to attend his wife Zari Hassan’s mother’s vigil.
The vigil was held at the Late’s home in Munyonyo, Kampala and was attended by family members and friends.
Diamond arrived at the home in the company of his mother and security in the middle of the night.
The singer interacted with mourners briefly and spent a bigger part of the night comforting Zari as the two were pictured holding each other in the couch.
Halima Matovu Hassan, Zari’s mother was pronounced dead at Nakasero Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on Thursday morning. She will be laid to rest at Busujju today (Friday July 21) at 2pm.
