FULL LIST: 2017 Uganda Premier League Awards Winners

KCCA Veteran striker Geoffrey Sserunkuuma has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the Uganda Premier League Awards ceremony held Wednesday at Imperial Royale Hotel.

Sserunkuuma who was also the league’s top scorer played a big role in KCCA’s campaign that saw them win the league for the second time in a row.

He walked home with a Subaru Forester courtesy of UPL and a cash prize worth Shs 2 million.

Among other winners of the night; Vipers’ duo of Ismael Watenga and Khalid Lwaliwa were named best goal keeper and best defender respectively.

Former Express captain Ibrahin Sadam Juma was also named best midfielder of the season.
