The Uganda Cranes this evening (Saturday August 19^th 2017) lost to Rwanda National Team Amavumbi Stars in the second leg of the 2018 CHAN Qualifiers.

The match, which was played at Kigali Regional Stadium, Nyamirambo in Rwanda, ended 2-0 in Favour of the Rwanda Amavumbi Stars.

Rwanda’s goals were scored by Yannick Mukunzi in the 8^th minute and Theiry Manzi in the 15^th minute.

However, Uganda won 3-2 on aggregate and now qualifies for CHAN 2018 finals to be held in Kenya.

It will be remembered that Uganda Cranes beat the Amavumbi Stars 3-0 in the first leg, which was played at St. Mary’s Kitende Stadium last Saturday (12^th August, 2017).
