Uganda Cranes Triumph Over Egyptian Pharaohs in 2018 World Cup Qualifiers

Uganda Cranes beat Egyptian Pharaohs 1-0 at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Friday (August 31st, 2017).

Emmanuel Okwi scored the Cranes’ only goal in the 49th minute, giving the national team 3 points.

Okwi’s goal put the cranes at the top of Group E in the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers with a total of 7 points.

The Uganda Cranes now will face Egyptian Pharaohs for the second leg game on Tuesday September 5th, 2017 in Alexandria, Egypt.
