The Uganda Cranes on Saturday (October 7) registered a goalless draw with Ghana in their second leg game of the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers.
In the game that was played at Mandela National stadium -Namboole, Uganda failed to score against the Ghana National Team.
Ghana had their goal disallowed in the 32nd minute of the game for offside after captain Daniel Amartey out jumped the Ugandan defence.
The draw ended Ghana’s chances of making it to the World Cup as it only has 6 points (in 5 games), 4 points away from Egypt who are leading the Group E table with 9 points.
Uganda on the other hand accumulated to 8 points and are praying that Egypt loses to Congo Brazzaville in Alexandria on Sunday.
