Rapper Keko Granted Canadian Citizenship After Coming Out as Gay

Popular Ugandan female rapper Jocelyn Tracey better known by her stage name, Keko, is a Canadian citizen as we speak.

This website has learnt that the “Fly Solo” rapper was granted Canadian citizenship after coming out as gay.

Keko, who has been in Canada for over 6 months now, came out via twitter and publicly revealed that she was gay, thanking Canada for “giving her a new home”.

“My gay ass is free yes free and there will be a wedding you best believe,” Keko wrote on Twitter.

“Thank you Canada for giving me a new home…I feel free like a new person it was a burden to live in a box and walk on egg shells,” she added in another tweet.

Reports from some sections of the media over the past years have referred Keko as a lesbian, although the rapper had never come out to address the claims.

She was also on several occasions rumoured to be in a relationship with female singer Sheebah Karungi before the two stopped appearing in public together.

Keko is currently based in Ontario, Canada.
