Denmark-based Ugandan singer Joanita Zachariassen recently teamed up with popular Ugandan rapper The Mith on a massive song titled “Kyogala”.
“Kyoyagala” means ‘What you want”.
In the zouk love song, Joanita makes an impressive delivery with her wonderful vocals while The Mith comes through with a flowing rap verse.
The video was shot and directed by Ugandan Art Director and visual artist Papa Shot It.

Who is Joanita Zachariassen?
Joanita Zachariassen is a Ugandan gospel, pop, soul and afrobeat award-winning Artist based in Denmark.
She holds an Academy from “Complete Vocal Institute” music school in Denmark and has been active in the music industry for 18 years.
Described by many as “A small woman with a big voice”, Joanita released her first Album in 2006, produced in Uganda by Steve Jean featuring Ugandans finest Artists such as Navio and Mr. Mosh.
In 2009 Joanita starred in “Talent Show 09” and the same year she starred in a “Climate service ” in Copenhagen’s cathedral, where she sang for over 2000 people – including several heads of state, including Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik.
In 2013 she won the Integration Award for her work as an African artist for her music as a voice of change in Denmark.
Joanita has appeared along with the late gospel star Etta Cameron and warmed up for Don Moen and Alvin Slaughter, who is the US large Gospel Artists and she has appeared in “X-Factor 2008 ‘as a backup singer for the group” Alien beat club “.
In 2016 Joanita performed for well known Nelson Mandela’s daughter (Zindzi mandela) at a refugee charity concert.
Joanita has also worked and sang with Emmelie de Forest Eurovision Song Contest winner of 2013.
Joanita Zachariassen is currently working at an 8-song EP which has different genres such as Afrobeat, Soul, Rock, Pop and Contemporary Gospel music. The EP will be released this year 2018.
