Police Recovers 2 Magazines, 34 Rounds of Ammunition in Kole district

Police Flying Squad in North Kyoga region on Tuesday (January 9, 2018) recovered two Magazines, 34 rounds of live ammunition, a pair of military boots and two UPDF Exercise books.

The items were recovered from Omerogweno village, Lwala Parish, Okwerodot Sub County in Kole District.

David Ongom, the North Kyoga region police spokesman says this was after the arrest of one Dick Obwol, 20, who was selling a magazine loaded with 30 rounds of ammunition

“He later led us to the home of one Ogal Gustavia 62 where we recovered two other magazines buried in a heap of rubbish,” said Ongom

The two are currently being held at Lira CPS pending interrogations.
