Greater Masaka’s most wanted criminal Musa Galiwango has finally been arrested by police on Tuesday morning.
A well calculated intelligence guided the police officers officers to Kigalama village, Kajala Sub County in Ntungamo district where Galiwango had moved in hiding.

Regional Police spokesperson Lameck Kigozi has confirmed the arrest.
“After knocking on the house where he was, he noticed it was security. He hit one of our officers in an attempt to resist arrest but he was disabled,” Kigozi said.
Galiwango has been evacuated to Mbarara Hospital for further management.
Galiwango has been on the run since escaping from Court in Masaka.
He also recently escaped arrest from Bukomansimbi where his accomplice Kiwaladime was killed by mob.

Galiwango faces fresh charges of escaping from lawful custody, murder, aggravated robbery and terrorism.
