Uganda People’s Defence Air Force (UPDAF) officer Pte Lokwi Samuel is dead.

According to UPDF Spokesperson Brig. Richard Karemire, Pte Lokwi Samuel took his life through suicide firing a bullet through his head at Katale –Seguku on Saturday, the 5th of May 2018.

“A board of inquiry has been constituted to establish the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate act by the soldier,” said Brig Karemire in a statement.

The deceased’s body was taken to Katabi UPDAF health centre 11(two) for further medical examination.
