Crystal Newman Leaves Sanyu FM After 18 Years


Renowned Ugandan Radio and Television personality, and events emcee Crystal Newman is leaving top radio station Sanyu FM after 18 years.

Crystal, who has been hosting Sanyu FM’s ‘The Sanyu Drive Show’ says she will be venturing in something else, which she did not disclose.

“Today will be my last day presenting on #SanyuDrive on @882SanyuFM. After 18 years, I have decided to make a change and start a new chapter. I have shared half my life on air with you,” she wrote on Twitter.

“From being a young girl at university to getting married to having three babies and fleshing out so many other roles at the same time. It has truly been a privilege and an honor! I have learnt so much from the people I have worked and interacted with. I am so excited about what lies ahead,” she added.

On her show, Crytal kept listeners tuned to Sanyu FM with her great voice. She also hosted a number of top celebrities and politicians who shared about their personal lives and careers.
