AFCON Qualifiers: Uganda Holds Tanzania to 0-0 Draw at Namboole

Uganda Cranes on Saturday (8th September, 2018) registered a goalless draw against Tanzania in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers game that was played at Namboole Stadium in Kampala.

The cranes maintained majority ball possession during the game and made a few attempts which however did not yield a goal.

The draw means that Uganda remains top in group L with 4 points ahead of Lesotho and Tanzania who have 2 points each.

Cape Verde registered 1 point after their draw against Lesotho.

Uganda’s next game will be against Lesotho on 11th October 2018 at Namboole Stadium.
