Unknown Assassins Threaten to Shoot, Poison Masaka News Reporters

Suspected assassins have threatened to shoot, hack and poison at least 12 journalists working in Greater Masaka for their news reports.

Some of the reasons for the death threats are: spying for Uganda Police, investigating their criminal acts, political and land reports, among other reasons.

Those on the list include CBS FM reporters Kayinja Tomusange, Jamiru Kalanzi, Ssozi Sekimpi, and John Male.

Others are: Robert Nsubuga of BBS TV, Jacinta Bwanika of Bukedde, Kipecu Mukasa and Norman Kabugu of Kamunye, Disimas Buregeya of New Vision, Gertrude Mutyaba of The Daily Monitor, Isa Aliga of NTV and Farish Magembe of NBS TV.

Bobi Wine, Katikkiro Mayiga, 14 Others Receive Death Threats in New Assassination List  

The hit list comes on the heels of that comprising singer and MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine, Buganda premier Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, MPs and religious leaders.
