Smartphone manufacturers Tecno recently launched their flagship device in the Spark series, the Tecno spark 3 on the Ugandan Market.
The Spark 3 succeeds the Spark 2, which was an undeniably successful device in terms of sales and user experience.
But with the upgrades that the Spark 3 promises, I couldn’t hold my excitement and curiosity to find out what it has to offer at a retail price of 429,000/-
The device was launched together with its Pro version, Spark 3 Pro which according to officials in Tecno Mobile Uganda sells at a retail price of 489,000/-. The Pro version also comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage space
For my review, I got the standard Spark 3 unit which comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage space.
Although I can’t give a full review of the device at this time, I performed a quick unboxing of the device and will be showing you what to expect on the inside.
What is in the box
Before we get to the phone, let us find out what to expect inside the box.
– User guide, warranty card and manual
– USB Cable
– Wall adapter for charging
– Transparent back case
– White headsets
– Screen protector
The Tecno Spark 3 comes in an interesting design, a 6.2” inch display with 1500 by 720-pixel resolution and the notch that houses the selfie camera, LED flash and other sensors.
There is also the headphone jack on the upper side. The lower side presents a micro-USB port and a mouth piece.
The left side is smooth while on the right, you get the volume keys and power button placed exactly where your thumb rests while holding the phone.
At the back, it carries dual AI powered 13MP and 2MP rear cameras, a led flash plus the rear fingerprint scanner.
It comes in a number of colors but for my review, I got a black variant.
