Jamaican Reggae Star Chronixx Arrives in Uganda Ahead of Saturday’s Show

Jamaican reggae artist Jamar McNaughton, popularly known as Chronixx has arrived in Uganda ahead of the ‘Pulse Jam Fest’ concert, which will be held this Saturday, 29th June 2019 at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.

Chronixx touched down at Entebbe Airport at around 2:30PM on Thursday and was welcomed by the Talent Africa boss Aly Alibhai and representatives from MTN Uganda and the other concert sponsors.

The “Skankin” hit maker will be performing live with the Zincfence Redemption Band, which arrived in the country earlier this week.

He is popularly known for his great reggae songs like; “Smile Jamaica”, “Here Comes Trouble”, “Ain’t No Givin In”, “Access Granted”, “Like a Whistle” and his 2017 hit “Skankin Sweet” among others.

Chronix will perform alongside a great line up of Uganda’s biggest performers including; Cindy Sanyu, Beenie Gunter, Vampino, Nutty Neithan, KS Alpha and Voltage Music.

DJs Aludah, DJ Ciza, DJ Jo, DJ Naselow and DJ LL will be playing music for the crowd.

This will be the second time for Chronixx to perform in Uganda.

The 26-year-old reggae star put up an energetic live music performance at his Kampala concert in June 2016.

The concert dubbed “Kampala Love Live Music” was held at the Ndere Cultural Centre and attracted a huge crowd of revelers.
