Police is holding six people in their custody after they were found in stolen motorcycles. The six were in a shop whereupon they sold the motorcycles. The Central Police station Kampala in conjunction with Flying Squad and 999 response team raided Kisenyi along Ring Road in Central Kampala and recovered 20 suspected stolen motor cycles.
The suspects were arrested to help with investigations.
This was after a tip off by intelligence agencies that the shop was being used as a base for buying and selling suspected stolen motor cycles.
The suspects who are currently detained at CPS Kampala are Assumani Sitakage,Muhagizi Daus, Ssegirinya Haby,
Muwesi ismail, Faruak ssekyedu and Kawuki Gibson.
They are being held on charges of being in possession of suspected stolen properties.
