President Museveni and his former ally turned rival, John Patrick Amama Mbabazi have for the third time met in just a period of two months.
The two met on Thursday in Nakaseke district at the Tarehe Sita celebrations happening at Butalangu Grounds.
Mbabazi arrived as a surprise guest and was given a huge welcome by attendees composed of; The Chief of Defence Forces Gen David Muhoozi, the Deputy IGP Muzeeyi Sabiti and prison’s chief Johnson Byabashaija, Gen Salim Saleh and others.
He wore a huge smile while he greeted his comrades.
Mbabazi was saluted by the men in uniform.
Speculation is still strong that Mbabazi will return to Museveni’s government.
