From the recently concluded Paint & Win Promotion, Plascon Uganda undertook three community empowerment projects as part of the Promotion with over fifty million shillings to uplift community based projects.
The CSR campaign included asking customers to visit Plascon Uganda’ Facebook and Twitter page and nominate a cause that is dear to their hearts which Plascon would later then be supported. As luck would have it, the online community voted for the top three (3) most impactful projects.
Kigezi High School, Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped and Dwelling Places emerged as top 3 winners registering the top most votes among them.
Speaking at the handover event, Mr. Daniel Kayongo, the Marketing Coordinator for Plascon, said; “The promotion was developed as a platform for the brand to strengthen relations with its customers through various touch points including country-wide trade activations and online engagements. We appreciate and reward our dealers, customers and painters for their loyalty and continuous support throughout the year.”

You would remember that last year’s “Paint & Win” promotion was code named Colour Rush and was worth UGX1,400,000,000,000/= (one billion four hundred million shillings) in total cash prizes. The promotion ran from 1 st October to Sunday, 14 th December, 2019 with a host of events including CSR activities.
