Bobi Wine Family Flees Country Ahead of Presidential Polls

National Unity Platform presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi’s family has fled the country, a week to general elections.

The family which left Entebbe airport on Wednesday night aboard Qatar Airways was Texas bound.

They included all of the four Bobi Wine’s children; Kyagulanyi Sekayi Solomon Kampala, Mbogo Shadrack, Namagembe Shalom and Suubi Shine Nakayi.

They were escorted by their maternal aunt Jolly Asiimwe Kyomuhimbo, their maternal uncle Baron Rubahamyaho will take them to Texas.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the six are headed to address; 1502 Enclave PKY APT 713 Houston Texas 77077 and Fort Bliss, Texas-US Army Garrison 1741 Marshall Road.

It is further said that the family will be staying with one of Barbie’s sisters who is in the US army in Texas.  

The action casts fear and anticipation on what Bobi Wine has planned for the post-election period that could force him to take his family outside the country.

Reports have indicated that several opposition groups are planning to cause violence if they do not agree with election results.
