Namutebi Jane, a Bukoto-based juice vendor, won close to a million shillings in the fifth draw of Airtel Uganda’s ongoing Yoola Amajja cash for grabs competition.
Namutebi, who has been working extra hours in search for school fees for her children, thanked Airtel Uganda for a very worthwhile reward.
“School fees za baana bange omwaka oguja nzifunye,” (“I now have school fees for my next year for my children”) she exclaimed amidst excitement.
Namwanje Zulaika, Henry Musisi a teacher from St. Mary’s college Kisubi and Ssebagala Richard, an electrician from Entebbe, were the other lucky winners who got an opportunity to grab money in the cash box.
Morris Sseguya, the Airtel Money Commercial Manager, had this to say while handing over the cash to the winners.

Launched at the beginning of November, Yoola Amajja is a cash promotion that rewards customers who are actively using the Airtel Money platform to carry out their daily transactions. To take part in the Yoola Amajja promotion, Airtel Money customers should dial *185# on their phones and carry out any 3 of these transactions weekly;

Lucky winners will be allowed into the cash box to grab up to 2 million shillings and will strictly be called using 0752600222.
