Beverage giant Coca-Cola has handed over UGX10,000,000 to Geofrey Madira, an Arua-based hawker and a lucky winner in the ongoing Under The Crown Promotion dubbed âSamba Ne Coca-Colaâ.
During the handover that took place in Arua town, a visibly excited Madira showed off his winning crown and encouraged the residents to continue drinking Coca-Cola and get a chance to experience the joy of winning.
âI am so grateful. 10 million shillings is the kind of money that can change your life. Thank you so much Coca-Cola,â he exclaimed, adding that he would continue taking part in the promotion to win more money.
Last month, Coca-Cola Uganda partnered with World Cup Official broadcaster Multichoice and Global partner HiSense to bring the World Cup closer to consumers all across Uganda through the âSamba Ne Coca-Colaâ promotion. Since its launch, lucky consumers across the country have been winning Television sets, Multichoice Dishes and Decoders, soccer balls, brand new t-shirts, packs of soda and cash prizes of UGX4,000,000. Madira is the first winner of the UGX 10,000,000 jackpot.
Speaking about the ongoing promotion, Mrs. Maggie Kigozi encouraged Coca-Cola consumers to continue drinking Coca-Cola products and also stand a chance to win.
âWe are so happy to reward our first UGX10,000,000 winner. We are also rewarding many others who have won television sets and other exciting prizes in different parts of the country. I encourage all our consumers to keep drinking and we promise to keep rewarding them for the duration of this campaign.â
To participate in the Samba Ne Coca-Cola promotion, consumers simply have to purchase a Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Novida, Krest or Stoney 300ml glass or 500ml plastic bottle bearing a white crown and check under the crown for their exciting prize.
