Centenary Bank MD Fabian Kasi Set to Grace 12th Edition of PRAU Health Run

Mr. Fabian Kasi, the Managing Director of Centenary Bank is set to join public relations practitioners from the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) for the PRAU Health Run slated for Friday 3rd August 2018.

The PRAU Health Run, the 12th edition of its kind, is geared towards promoting networking opportunities and physical fitness amongst its members and other institutions.

The PRAU President, Ms. Cynthia Mpanga, looked forward to the participation of Mr. Fabian Kasi and the team from Centenary Bank while also urging other MDs and CEOs to embrace the PRAU Health Run: “We are grateful to Mr. Fabian Kasi for honouring our invite to join PR practitioners for this run. We know him for not only his stellar performance as a banker and MD but also supporting sporting initiatives such as the PRAU Health Run” said Ms. Cynthia Mpanga.

The first PRAU Health Run was held in 2016 and was started in a bid to help PR practitioners live a healthy lifestyle and break the monotony of their day to day office jobs.

On his part, Mr. Fabian Kasi gave remarks on Centenary Banks support for sports and heath associated initiatives: “Centenary bank’s partnership with PRAU for the health run is in line with our commitment to promote better and healthy living. We have a fitness program where our staff get to engage in aerobics session every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30pm. The Bank also sponsors sports activities in various communities such as the Masaza Cup organized by Buganda Kingdom, Seals Swim Club competition and National Rally Championship where we support Ronald Ssebuguzi. Our Bank recently contributed Shs.155 million towards the annual Rotary Cancer Run, whose aim is to reduce cancer prevalence in the country. Physical fitness is a good start to fighting non-communicable diseases such as cancer which have been on the rise lately” said Mr. Fabian Kasi.

The PRAU Health Run will start off at Lugogo Indoor Stadium at 5.30pm. Warm up and stretching drills will be conducted before the official run commences at 6.00pm. Entrance is free.
