PHOTOS: Car Enthusiasts Mix and Mingle at CBA Vintage Auto Show 2018

Car enthusiasts on Saturday (July 28, 2018) flocked the 2018 CBA Uganda Vintage and Classic Auto Show at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala gardens.

The 7th edition of the annual show themed beauty and the beast, saw renowned personalities showcasing their vintage collections.

Some of the prominent car owners included Kakooza wazzir mark 11 22DGL 1980, Ronnie Walusimbi Toyopet Corona 1967, Tor Allan (Kenya) 1966 Peugeot 404, Rajiv Ruparelia Mercedes Benz c-class1958, Patrick Mweheire Mercedes Benz 1965 and Paul Bakulu (from Rwanda)  Buick Riviera 1968.

Most of the car owners had amazing stories on how they had to search several parts of the world to get spare parts.

Dr. John Nuwagaba, the chairman Vintage Autoshow applauded car enthusiasts for showing up in such large numbers with the vintage show gaining popularity year after year.

The event which started as early as 10:00AM, ended with a wonderful live music performance from Qwela band and awards where the winners received cash prizes and other goodies.
