Just a day after the purported arrest of Development Channel boss Charles Nwabuikwu Lamber, the organization has come out to clear the air.

It is quite unfortunate that the institutions that should encourage economic growth and development in Uganda are the actual major impediments to it. HOW YOU WILL BRAND AN ORGANIZTION THAT BEGAN WITHOUT CHAIRS IN AN EMPTY ROOM AND HAS INVESTED TO THE POINT OF EQUIPPING THREE MASSIVE BUILDINGS WITH OVER 1,000 EMPLOYEES AS A FRAUDULENT SCAM OR ANYTHING OF SUCH IS A MASSIVE EMBARASEMENT TO THE INTELLECTUAL MAKE-UP OF THE PEOPLE OF UGANDA.

What is the profit to the society when a police officer handling the social media pages of the Metropolitan Police ask for money so as not to turn a simple story of drivers having issues with their contact person to the organization who they felt was not distributing money to them to a national scandal alert, irrespective of the over 1,000 full time staff that such a lie can affect or the thousands of suppliers, stakeholders, customers and others such a post can even scare. How does such a story benefit the country or promote the work of the police?

Just last month, we as a company was praying for Africa and the Pull Down syndrome, the Xenophobia and the tribalism because is the major hindrance to our unity and development as a people. Now we are getting attacked while we are creating jobs, we are getting abused while we are trying to build a factory that manufactures phone in Uganda (a first in Africa). While we are providing a program for children to have economic protection, we are being blackmailed by a person from the police? The nationality of our pan-African leader is the focus on media reports in a country promoting hospitality as its strength?

Development Channel would like to state that we have designed a platform where we have direct communications with our clients and no one should listen to anything contrary to what we write in the platform as it is obvious that the same institutions which should protect a people in pursuit of economic success for an entire nation are actually the ones hindering us.

May God save Uganda from acts of selfish, ignorant and narrow minded people.

Africa First Economic War.

We are Ready!!!
