The Academy was established in 2014 with a vision of empowering the youth through cricket in Soroti and Teso Sub region and this has been achieved through various campaigns such as;

The pool of talent has enabled the formation of 3 clubs that are managed by the academy. These compete in the national cricket league namely, Olila High School, Soroti Challengers CC for the ladies and Soroti Blazers Cc for the gentlemen.

The educational initiatives of the academy have prompted support from UNICEF and other corporates like St. Benard’s publishers who donated text books to help in learning. St Benard’s is a publishing firm which started in 2005. That deals in educational books and stationary.
