The Minister for Education and Sports Janet Museveni has on Thursday morning released the 2019 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Examinations (UACE) results.
The results have been released from Office of the President Auditorium in Kampala. Speaking at the occasion UNEB Chairperson Prof Mary Okwakol, students in 2019 performed better than those who sat 2018.
Okwakol, however, said there were few entries for science candidates. Only 30% registered for mathematics and only 10% registered for science subjects.
98.6% of the candidates who sat for the examinations qualified for the award of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education. 63.6% of these have a minimum of two principal passes, required for University admission
