Uganda Cranes star Derrick Nsimbambi has according to reports trickling in tested positive for coronavirus.
Nsibambi who plays for Egyptian side Smouha SC had tests taken during mass testing of all players at the team.
Although the club is yet to make an official statement, it is said that another player at the team, Koffi Mohammad also tested positive.
Nsibambi formerly played for KCCA FC before he got signed by Pyramids FC in January.
Clubs in Egypt are required to run three rounds of PCR tests ahead of the return of the league on August 6th
