Project staff at the Compassion International supported Ibanda Child Development Centre are worried sick after the disappearance of one of the children under their care.

Sharon Ankunda, 16, a resident of Kyaruhanga village in Ibanda Municipal Council reportedly disappeared while she was on her way from Kahungye in Kamwenge District to Ibanda town.

According to Moses Muhangi, the Project Director at Ibanda CDC, Ankunda is believed to either be in Ibanda town, Kamwenge or areas in between the two towns.
