Controversial City Pastor Augustine Yiga of Revival fellowship in Kawaala, is seriously ill and admitted to Nsambya Hospital.

Yiga who was Friday morning reported dead is still getting treatment at Nsambya Hospital where he has been admitted for weeks.

“It’s true, the Pastor is ill and admitted but about his death, I don’t think this is the year when he will die,” an official from his church said.

Contacted for a comment, Nsambya Hospital maintains that Yiga is alive but refuses to comment further.

Prior to his hospitalization, the ‘Man of God’ was arrested and  charged with committing an act likely to spread infection of a disease which is contrary to sec(171 PCA).

He had appeared in a TV interview saying there were no Covid-19 cases in Uganda as had been reported by the Ministry of Health.

He is famous for controversy and comic summons which earned him the name Abizaayo.
