Shortly after announcing their start-up Challenge, Makerere University Business School (MUBS) has set in motion, the 2017 Career fair.
Also known as the Employers’ Expo 2017, the fare kicked off on Monday 10th April at the Nakawa based school premises, set to run up to Thursday April 13th.
With hundreds of students thronging the venue for career guidance and employment opportunities, the expo is anticipated to ignite more business ideas, better still, polishing the already existent.
According to officials, over 30 companies are exhibiting at the expo; in an event that also brings together different manufacturers and other service providers.
Exhibitors have lauded MUBS for such a platform and expressed how excited they are to share ideas with their potential customers and future employees.
“As Uganda Baati, we are here to give career guidance; carry presentations to the finalists about our Graduate Trainee Program as well inform them about our different products. These students are our future employees and customers so we have to introduce the company and our products to them early enough” Said Judith Amwiine the Human Resource Officer – Learning, Training and Development at Uganda Baati Limited
