Musician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine attracted thousands of supporters at his first campaign rally in the Kyadondo East Constituency Parliamentary race on Wednesday (May 31st)
After he was successfully nominated at Kasangati Saza grounds on Wednesday morning, the singer who is contesting as an independent candidate, held a campaign rally at Wampeewo grounds later in the day.
The rally was attended by a mammoth crowd, leaving many convinced that the “Bikwase Kyagulanyi” singer will win the race. Bobi Wine promised to represent the views of the people once elected into power.
Bobi Wine was in the company of his wife Barbie, who at one moment knelt down asked supporters to vote for her husband to represent them in Parliament.
