Ugandan socialite, Zari Hassan has finally spoken out on the alleged fued between her and her late ex-husband, Ivan Semwanga’s family.

Recent reports from some sections of the media indicated that Zari and Semwanga’s family were fighting for the deceased property.

However, while speaking to Ayo TV, an online Tanzanian TV channel, Zari trashed the reports, stating that she needs Semwanga’s family now more than ever.

“There is no beef between me and that family whether I like it or I don’t like it because they are my kids’ family,” said Zari during the interview.

“I need them in future, I could run broke and ask them for help to support the kids. The kids need a father figure, I can’t raise them alone,” she added.

In the same interview, Zari noted that she is the rightful administrator of Ivan Semwanga’s property.

“I’m now the administrator. We built the schools from scratch. When I met him we didn’t have money, his family knows that,” she said.
