Singer Bebe Cool has come out and revealed why he cannot support fellow musician Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine in the Kyadondo East by elections.
Bebe Cool was appearing on NTV Uganda’s ‘The Beat’ entertainment show on Friday evening when he explained that he would have supported Bobi Wine if he (Bobi Wine) wasn’t in the wrong party.
“I would have supported him but he stood on a wrong ticket. If he was from NRM, I would be behind him,” Bebe Cool said.
It should be noted that Bobi Wine is affiliated to the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party although he is standing as an Independent Candidate in the Kyadondo East Constituency elections.
He also hails from a family who allegiances are with opposition Democratic Party.
Bebe Cool during the show mentioned that he cannot support Bobi Wine because the Fire Base singer once attacked his father, former Presidential Candidate, Jaberi Bidandi Ssali.
“He attacked my father, I can never support him unless he apologizes,” swore Bebe Cool.
The Gagamel Entertainment boss however admitted that Bobi Wine has massive support from the people of Kyadondo East.
“It is obvious he has very big support. We musicians have a lot of support from the population. People should respect us even more,” he said.
At the same show, Bebe Cool premiered his latest video titled “Katono”.
