PHOTOS: How it Went Down at the 2017 Club Music Video Awards

It was all glamour and fun at the 2017 Club Music Video Awards (CMVAs), which were held at the Kampala Serena – Victory Hall on Saturday (March 18, 2017).

The 2017 CMVAs were the first ever blue carpet event in Uganda, attracting a huge number of city celebrities and party goers.

Some of the city celebrities that attended the event were singers Cindy Sanyu, Lilian Mbabazi, Ykee Benda, Leila Kayondo, Spice Diana, Keko, A Pass, TV host Malaika Nnyanzi, fashionista Abryanz, ex-Miss Uganda Stella Nantumbwe aka Ellah among others.

The event which was hosted by standup comedian, Alex Muhangi and Sanyu FM’s Crystal Newman had a number of music performances from Ykee Benda, Voltage Music singers Kent and Flosso, Hellen Lukoma, Spice Diana, Lilian Mbabazi and Vampino.

The winners in the various categories were announced at the ceremony and handed their accolades.

Singer, Abaasa and rapper Patrobas from Dustville Records were the biggest winners of the night after their collabo, “Voice Inside” won them 5 awards.
