Nigerian music star Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid has finally arrived in Uganda ahead of his much anticipated Kampala Concert dubbed “Thursday Night Live With Wizkid” scheduled to take place this Thursday (December 7, 2017) at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Wizkid who missed his first flight before boarding the next one, touched down at Entebbe Airport at 2:30PM on Wednesday and was welcomed by the organizers from FACE TV, concert sponsors, journalists and fans.
“Am excited to be in Uganda. Can’t wait to give the fans a memorable two-hour performance,” Wizkid told journalists at Entebbe.
The “Daddy Yo” hit maker will be performing live with his band, which arrived in the country earlier this week.
A great line up of Uganda’s biggest performers will be performing alongside Wizkid. These include singers; Radio & Weasel, Winnie Nwagi, Cindy, Irene Ntale, Fik Fameica, Vampino, B2C, Geosteady, King Saha, Latinum, Fille and Big Eye.
DJs Roja & Slick Stuart, Dj Hearts, Dj Nimrod and Dj Shiru will be on the decks, keeping the revellers on their feet all evening.
