PHOTOS: Top Deejays Thrill Gulu Partygoers

Residents of the Northern Uganda district of Gulu yet again proved their love for one thing – a good party.

Not even the heavy two-hour Saturday night downpour could deter them from showing up to support their favorite deejays.

Revelers turned up in large numbers and flocked Gulu’s popular nightspot, Smiling Panda to watch the disc masters and mistress do their thing at the ongoing UG Mix Maestro Tour.

For the fourth consecutive weekend, Uganda Waragi in partnership with the DJ Association of Uganda organised a successful UG Mix Maestro tour in the fourth location in Uganda.

Deejays Ciza, Jo, Nimrod, Shan, Naselow and only female on the night, DJ MaryJo brought the house down with their mixes that caused consistent thunderous applauses throughout the night.

The hyped crowd took little notice of the biting cold weather and enjoyed the performances.

The night’s favorite performer was clearly DJ MaryJo who excited her audience with a rich line-up of local and traditional hits. The crowd couldn’t have been any happier.

This second edition of the deejay UG Mix Maestro campaign which was launched last year, has been to four locations so far; Arua, Masaka, Mbale and Gulu.

Uganda Waragi will next weekend take the deejay crew to Mbarara, the last upcountry location of the tour before a grand finale in Kampala on November 2.
