A massive fire has Monday evening gutted Fort Portal taxi park in Fort Portal town, Kabarole District.

Reports indicate that the fire started from fuel truck caught fire after a leakage, causing an explosion that has destroyed property worth millions.

According to eyewitnesses on ground, nearby buildings,  merchandise, vehicles and motorcycles have been destroyed.

By publication time, the police fire brigade was at the scene trying to put out the fire.
