Men Who Caused Chaos in Parliament Out on Bail

City Hall grade one Magistrate has released the two men; Dafaala Ssenkajaako and Charles Mutaasa Kafeero who jumped into parliament during plenary from the visitors’ gallery.

The two men started distributing notes containing text that criticized the government, and parliament itself.

They were arrested on Wednesday, February 19 and charged with malicious damage of property and criminal trespass into parliament premises.

The suspects told the court that they had been tortured and needed medication, a reason court based on to grant them.

Ssenkajaako said his ribs had been tortured and that he was vomiting blood.
