The Katikkiro of Baganda Kingdom Charles Peter Mayiga has scoffed at people circulating rumors the Kabaka of the kingdom Ronald Muwenda Mutebi is seriously ill.
Mayiga dismissed the rumors while addressing the press on Monday.
He said the reports on social media are being disseminated by enemies of the kingdom.
“I want to make it clear to everybody that the Kabaka is doing fine and he is not admitted to any hospital as is being alleged,” he said.
He advised bloggers to desist from spread fake information with the intention of growing fan base.
